Thanks for a useful plugin. By using this alone, I've already been able to cut 140ms off one action just by taking out the url_for and link_to. Previously I had no way of knowing just how expensive those operations were.
The support team is simply amazing! I was testing out the beta version of Manage 2.0 and had a couple of questions. All emails were answered within 2 minutes with simple and complete instructions. That definitely won me over.
We were looking to provide support and management for deployments on Amazon EC2. FiveRuns was a perfect fit.

Ruby on Rails has been an effective option for many of our clients, with rapid development leading to lower costs. FiveRuns' cost-effective monitoring software is an excellent way to manage these applications going forward.
The value we've seen with FiveRuns is the ability to nip performance problems in the bud before they present themselves to the general public.
We first used the FiveRuns management tool a few months ago and were incredibly impressed with the level of detail, functionality and ease of use. This partnership really gives Brightbox a competitive advantage.
After stumbling around with various roll-your-own monitoring services, none of which satisfied, we found FiveRuns and it was love at first click. From the dashboard I can see how our architecture is performing and, more importantly, what our Rails stack is up to or not. Detailed reports can be generated to help us target soft spots and the alerts system helps us stay on top of emerging issues so we can tackle them before they become site crippling problems.
FiveRuns, it changed my life.
FiveRuns' elegant and robust solution for monitoring Rails apps provides our clients key information for not only keeping their services running smoothly and quickly, but also a proactive tool to quantitatively evaluate when and what to scale up.

We're a small team on a tight budget, practicing agile methods. FiveRuns gives us more confidence in each deploy, a window into performance issues we never had before and much better ability to plan and scale.
FiveRuns Manage is the best companion to our Fully Managed Dedicated Servers, offering complete visibility of the performance of systems and Rails applications and empowering our customers with great tools to optimize and achieve great performance.

One of our consultants actually suggested that we use FiveRuns as an instrumentation tool for our apps. We were using New Relic's RPM system previously, but the data we get from it are rather limited. So far, FiveRuns is doing great for us, and is able to monitor all aspects of our applications. We look forward to using it in our other apps.
